You Know Your Way Home: A Modern Initiation Journey

I first heard Suzanne on a local radio station and was impressed with her ability and as I listened to her on several other occasions I felt a sort of kinship. I also grew up feeling that I had a gift of insight and tried to dismiss it since any time I did mention it I was either doubted or dismissed. I often looked at people who claimed to be psychic as frauds and out for people's money. I'm sure those types are out there, but Suzanne has show herself to be truly gifted and willing to share her gifts. Her book chronicles her life experiences in such a way that within a few chapters you feel you know her; that she's a good friend you have known all your life. I can only imagine the amount of strength and soul searching it must have taken to decide to put words to her experiences and to open her life up in print. I would recommend her book to anyone who has an interest in the paranormal, but it's also a wonderful example of personal growth and embracing one's spirituality for what it is.

While this book may have been intended for the author's children's children, I'm sure it was also intended to reach all of us, her sisters in spirit. It was so wonderful, at times heart-wrenching, unbelievably honest, humble and reinforcing of life - - all at the same time! Quite a combination! Seeking, and rarely finding, literature in which the heroine is victorious against all odds, this book beats George Sand's characters, as it is true and belongs to a contemporary. I loved every moment reading it, and will not soon forget it. Thank you, Suzanne.

Suzannes's life story is truly an inspiration to all! She suffered innumerable obstacles (an abusive parent, multiple failed marriages, etc.) and yet, has been able to help others through her complex journey with her unique gift. After hearing Suzanne speak at the New Renaissance Bookshop in Portland, I read Suzanne's beautiful book almost all in one sitting. I was definitely drawn to know what life for a psychic person was like, and while I did get lots of fascinating information on that subject, I also found myself privy to one woman's candid and touching account of finding her center, her deepest and truest self, and as she puts it, her way home. The simple and honest bravery and wisdom of this book took me to a profound and healing depth of reflection, and I found Suzanne's voice and story to be a comforting companion on my own current journey and my own way home.

A well written, easy to read life story. You'll start the book wanting to advise her on her life choices with "Don't do it, don't do it" and by the end be touched in subtle ways which will linger with you. Having psychic abilities brings unique challenges and responsibilities; Suzanne Jauchius's honesty in describing and detailing her life journey brings a new understanding and appreciation. It inspires me to strive for an honest, genuine life. I bought 5 copies to share with family and friends, knowing their lives would be positively impacted as well.
