"You Can Do The Cube" by Patrick Bossert

Thanks to Patrick Bossert's book, I was able to finish the cube and I look forward to getting faster at solving it. The book is very easy to understand and explains the different stages of solving the cube. It was much better to have a book in front of me than to watch a video clip of it as the video clips are much too fast for me. My goal is to solve the cube all by myself. Thank you, Patrick!

Good for learning how to solve the Rubik's cube

I received this book in December 1980. After learning and memorizing its patterns, I was able to solve the cube without the book after about three weeks. In 1983, I was the 7th grade Rubik's cube champ, and then again in the 8th grade. Now, 25 years later, I can still solve my Rubik's cube in about 90 seconds, thanks to this book. It's much, much easier to understand than some of the other resources. For someone who thinks it's smarter to simply google "cube solution," it's better to know how to solve it than to read solution instructions off your screen (and much faster too.)

Easiest solution book for the Cube that I've ever found

I remember getting this book when I was in the 2nd grade. Now I'm 34! The solution book is very easy to follow with simple diagrams. All the moves are explained in the book too so you have an understanding as to what you will be doing. I still cannot remember the moves but I can at least solve the cube easier than ever!

Great Book on Doing the Cube

There were many books out in the early 80's on how to do Rubik's Cube, and this one was the best. The movements aren't labeled with complicated numbers, but with very clear arrows. All you need to do is memorize each series of movements and, with some practice and quick hands, you can do the Cube in under three minutes. The book also offers a few pages on Cube maintenance, and there's even a nice bit at the end that shows you how to make your Cube display patterns such as diagonal lines, checkers, crosses, and Z's.

Makes the cube easy

This book provides easy instructions for how to solve the cube. Anybody can do it with this book's help.
