Yoga books

I have been teaching yoga for a while now an love reading any books by Ms. Lasater. I always get something new from them to take to my classes.

I'm a big fan of yoga for all-over body fitness - mind, body, and spirit. This book presents great yoga poses for strengthening the body's core. A companion book to this one is Mary El-Baz's "Transform Your Core 6-Week Workbook."

Don't Totally Agree, But Still A Good Book

As a Pro Trainer and Self Transformed 'Fat Kid', I don't totally agree that 'flat abs, etc. is not natural'. Having lived through my personal transformation, I know first hand how natural it can be. That being said, this book gives a great perspective on a subject that many people struggle with. Any exerciser will be able to get something out of this book, as this subject area still needs more experts to educate the general public. Add it to your fitness library. permission to have a soft tummy

I found this book to be inspiring. It gave me permission to have a soft feminine tummy, and still be strong. I love the exercises that are geared toward strength while giving care for the back. Judith knows alot about the human body and she explains that it is OK to have a round soft tummy. Its not natural for us to have be flat or have abs of steel. After doing the exercises I can feel my core getting stronger. I love this book!
