Enjoyable stories.

Overall I liked this. It had three separate though connected story lines about an advertising agency. One is about the Boss and the newest part-timer. It does have a build up of emotion to the consummation, not just a jump into the sack (nothing wrong with that I just like a little more). The other drawn story line is about one of the younger employees of the advertising agency and a male model. The third was a narration of from another employee of the advertising agency. Though there are only a few intimate scenes I was satisfied and enjoyed this one. There were a few translation oddities and one obvious typo but this didn't take away from the story.

These men in a designer firm rock!

This Yaoi is an adaptation of a novel. I wish I could read the original novel as these men working in a designer firm are most appealing, their love lives romantic and engaging. This volume (I do hope this one is first of a series) focus on 3 couples, the stories told from the ukes' views. The main story is the romance between the boss of the designer firm and the rookie. The boss, Mr Daijou, is one quietly forceful guy with an intriguing background and my type of cool seme. Their evolving love against a corporate background with a little political intricacies is well told and entertaining, with humorous moments. The uke is the much younger innocent stereotype but he is an endearing character as he strives to prove himself to his boss. The second romance between Akira, Mr Daijou's junior graphic designer, and Kei, a younger and successful model, is angst filled, heartwarming, charming and tender. Both uke and seme are very likable as they complement each other nicely. This is my favorite as Akira is such an adorable character and Kei's deeply harbored love for Akira is touching. The 3rd couple's story is titled "Shower" and consists of a 4 pages translation with one graphic illustration. This story maybe short but it is quietly romantic and expressive. The translation is smooth and well done. The uke's feelings is well expressed here as both men who are Mr Daijou's senior designers try to hide their blossoming love from their fellow colleagues. I wish to read more on this interesting couple. This mangaka's artwork is very pleasing and you just have to love her guys' vivid and lively expressions. The sex may not be plentiful but the characters and story lines more than make up for it. I hope there is more to come as we have yet to read about the remaining 2 designers and here the mangaka has left us hints of equally engrossing stories.
