In another case, Tsuzuki and Hisoka must investigate a 17-year-old who's been murdered and his body mutilated. Phwar...not quite yaoi...

Maybe what makes Yami No Matsuei so delicous is that it is classifed as a yaoi series, but if you pay close attention, it's not...exactly. The relationship between the two main characters is more like a brother/brother, father/son relationship than it is a romantic one. This series is to funny for words-- Tsuzuki is a moron, but he makes you laugh because of it. Hisoka keeps him in line, but they still make you laugh, even though you wonder whilst you are reading it; are these characters gay? The answer to that question is no. Several times you notice that Hisoka and Tsuzuki kiss girls which means that it is not a complete yaoi series. Anyway, this is a great and hilairious manga story, and the boys are H-O-T. Good girlie-girl series, if you know what I mean. However, if'n you're lookin' for guys duking out their problems with lots of blood and gore thrown in, then that's here too. I highly reccomend it.
