it's the best!

Intence action and dramatic scenes- this book has it all. Subaru vs Nataku, Subaru vs Fuma- what can be cooler? Also we have lots of cute scenes, like Kamui holding Subaru's hand and when Yuzuriha-chan comes to visit Subaru in the hospital. And of course the *promising* dialog between Fuuma and Seishirou. What else is needed?

X is wonderful times three!!

I have loved X since I saw the dubbed version on Showtime. I went out and rented the DvD twice and watched it. Then I got into the manga and it's wonderful! This installment becomes very graphic and should be read by mature audiences only! For intance, Subaru gets one of his eyes poked out! Aww...Anywho, it's a wonderful book. Kamui begins to take some responcibility over his actions. At least he dosen't just sit there and watch his friends get murdered this time! its a great installment. A must-have for the whole series. Enjoy!

X rocks my socks

I absolutely love X. This volume makes me love it even more. Many things about Kamui the Dragon of Earth are revealed (he also becomes the hottest thing that ever lived as he changes his wardrobe). Subaru gets a serious injury which is followed up by one of the sweetest scenes I've ever read. This volume also brought me to tears twice. Poor Keiichi, that's all I'm going to say. One part made me crack up, though. It's a scene between Seishiro and Fuuma, and I love reading it over and over and over... *cough* Anyway... there's also more development of Kamui's character, and an interesting comparison of him now versus him in the first book. ^_~ Looks like Saiki finally admits that this is the true Kamui. The artwork, as always, is amazing. Some of the things Viz did with printing this book pisses me off, though. On the back it says, "Subaru is hospitalized in the aftermath of his showdown against Seiichiro..." *_* It was SEISHIRO, not Seiichiro! -.-Oh well. This book really is a gem, but keep in mind it's rated 16+!

Well, if it isn't my favorite volume.

Hmmm. Very mixed feelings about this one.First off, it's AWESOME if you're a Subaru fan. And it's AWESOME if you haven't picked up and perused the original Japanese work and clonked through the translations on your own. It's nice to be able to effortlessly read it in my native tongue, I'll tell you that!However....It's been bugging me since it came out that this particular series is being printed in the order of an American comic novel. I never realized how much it would annoy the piss out of me to see Subaru proclaim that it's his left eye that's blind.I keep flashing back to the original Japanese and screaming "Right! Right! It's supposed to be right!"Also, a few of the translations seem a bit wrong, but overall...*glomps 'Movement'* I love it!However, you die-hard Kamui fans... YES, HE HAS A SPINE! For, like, one page. But it's still worth the look. :) And Yuzu-chan's so damned cute creating her kekai. *gush*Gaw, now I can't wait for 13. Hurry up, damn it! *kicks Viz*
