A great Masterpiece indeed!!

An interesting piece of novel done by Dean Wesley Smith. Very imaginative and powerfully addictive. In just less than one day i spent a serene afternoon reading this wonderful novel amazed at the beautifully written comic literature. A joy to read, a story to be unforgettable, this book is a best by for me!aka: Proteus

A good story line and plot makes it worth the money

I thought that the way the X-Men and the Juggernaut put aside their differences to stop a NEW Juggernaut and save the planet was a good storyline and the subplot of the people that hold the shards of the emerald of Cytarrak was very good. also i like the way the X-Men save the planet from a much greater thrat than theey realized.

From frying pan into the fire

One would think that having one Juggernaut is bad enough... but two of them? Well, that's what happens here. This time, however, it is an emerald (split into three pieces) that causes the trouble. Each use causes the original Juggernaut something like a heart attack, and the new Juggernaut (a would be heir to millions with a minority complex) becomes stronger. And the two are on a diret collision course for each other. Can the X-Men keep the two apart (and if not, can they win against TWO of them, or one with the power of two)? Only time will tell

This book rocks!!

This book is so cool! It not only is a great read for comic book fans everywhere but if you are so not into comics, you can still find this a great read.

The Jewels of Cyttorak

The Past Korea, World War II Charles Francias Xavier and his step brother Cain Marko were fighting someone else's war. Both strong men, they were soldiers for America. But then, bombs began to fall. Cain Marko, fearing his own life, took off into the jungle. Not wanting his step-brother to face a possible court martial, Xavier followed. What they found would forever change their life. The temple was desrted, crumbling with age, and very claustrophobic. Cain was drawn inside. Xavier tried to follow. Cain found a large gem, a ruby the size of a bowling ball. Cain's greed made him touch it. Cain was forever turned into the Unstoppble Juggernaut, and the worst enemy of the X-Men. Centuries before, a similar gem had called to two young monks of the sacred order of Cyttorak. The emerald that spoke to them was as large as the ruby. They reahed out to touch it. But an elder monk, knowing it would release the terrible Cyttorak into this dimesion if one person touched both stones, broke the emerald into three peices, which went spinning into the future. Present day The Emerald Shards were found by three people. It gave one eternal life, the second the power to control and entire city, and the third remained hidden in a box, where it had been since the day it had been unearthed, on a dig in Korea. Then, it's discoverer dying, he showed it to his sons, Gary and Robert Service. One heeded his father's warning about not touching the emerald. The other touched it and became almost as tall, strong, and powerful as the Unstoppable Juggernaut. The Juggernaut felt pain when the emerald was touched. He hadn't felt pain since the day he'd touched the Ruby. It made him stomp off in search of its cause. Meanwhile, the Service boy set off in search of the other two shards of the emerald. He figured if he could find the rest, he would be unstoppable. It's now up to the X-Men to find this new Juggernaut, before he becomes too powerful, and save the world from ultimate destruction! But this time, they may not win....
