A Sweet Romance

Ella McBride is an orphan, just like the real Cinderella, and is more than a little down on her luck. She's living in a house with none of the modern conveniences (no electricity!) and she desperately needs a job.William Hawk is rich, lives in a mansion, recently widowed and now charged with raising two children.Ella comes into Hawk's life by finding his children running wild in the country. The kids take to her immediately, which brings Hawk to ask her to stay on as their nanny. The two are attracted to each other, but Hawk feels he is much too old for her, and Ella is too insecure. When Francine, the evil sister in law, arrives for a visit and to help with the kids, Ella's insecurities get the best of her. She feels that Francine is after Hawk and decides the best thing to do is to run away. Of course Hawk chases after Ella... will they live happily ever after? You'll have to read to find out! This Silhouette Desire novel has a sweet romance and is a must read.A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Tiffany Ann

He Bought a Ring, but for Who?

William Hawk, trying his best to raise his two children, Billy and Sarah, after the death of his beloved wife Lauren, is confronted by Ella, who is young and down on her luck.Ella has found his children running alone in the countryside. She brings them home, wondering what kind of parents let their children run wild. Hawk sees how the children like Ella and asks her to move in and be their nanny and for the first time in her life, Ella feels like she's part of a family. And what's more she and Hawk are attracted to each other. Then Francine, Hawk's sister-in-law, comes to help with the children and Ella thinks she has eyes for Hawk. Francine sees a small bulge in Hawk's pocket, figures out that it's an engagement ring, but who is the ring for, her or Ella? Four stars from me for this one.A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Vesta Irene
