Book Overview

How do ancient historians pursue their craft? Dusting The Historian's Bookshelf

Though the title might be a bit misleading its message is certainly not: History (especially ancient history) Must Change or Die! Prof. Morley gives in this little volume a terse argument of how "Professional" Historians with their boring colorless prose and assertion that only they know what they are doing shouldn't hold the monopoly in the search for facts and their interpratation. A probing and entertaining analysis of the current state of Historiography.
