Presents original World War II era color photographs of the sometimes comic, sometimes bawdy original paintings with which American flyers decorated their aircraft. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The photograhy in this book is preety good and the authors do a decent job at chronicling the history behind most of the aircrafts they picture. Some of the photographs however, seem to be used just to fill space. Maybe I'm too picky as I wanted not to see so many shark teeth. All in all though, the book is a worthwhile purchase unless all you're looking for is Pin-Ups and bombers. This book contains a lot of fighter art from small planes as well as the sexier large bombers. Would've gotten 5 stars if it had been bigger and had more pages.
