The definitive guide to the new business environment
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
This book talks about how business is shifting and who we have to be in the new paradigm to survive. As a management consultant for small businesses, and a trainer for Dale Carnegie's leadership training, I use this book FREQUENTLY as a reference and I quote it often. Shechtman teaches business owners how to stop the caretaking of employees, and how to start really caring for them, which will help us get the results we need. All businesses experience some growing pains at about a few million in revenue. Many of them stop growing there. He teaches business owners specifically how the entrepreneurial mindset that it took to get the company to a few million will require reworking if they want to get to $20M. He also gives a lot of step-by-step processes. This is a book I pull off my shelf and use often! It's a must read!
