Working With Plastics

First off I was looking for a good hard core book on acrylic plastics to teach you everything you would need to know, since it's NOT like working with wood or glass, you figure there would be such a book! I couldn't find it with a simple Google Search and when I would ask people on how to look for a book or get any info on the hardware subject of it they would say "Look it up on the internet" or "There are many videos on it". Now I did look at the videos and it wasn't enough for me, it wasn't going over the projects I had in mind, there had to be a more logical source, since how did the people in the videos learn how to do this in the first place or there has to be a science to it with engineering!? When it arrived on March 3, 2023 and I opened it up, just glancing and not reading yet, THIS WAS THE GOLD MINE OF KNOWLEDGE!!! This book is from 1981, but this is what was used before the internet was a THING!!! It teaches things I didn't think was possible with Acrylic plastic. It tells you everything you need to know from getting a piece from Lowe's Hardware store (I work there by the way) to turn a boring piece into anything you can imagine! Now it's not a project book on many different ideas, but it teaches you the principles that you must know to make anything work. I for sure think this is the must have book to have for anybody to want to work with acrylic. It goes over other things too like Laminates and Corian too. It goes over the tools and why to use them for your projects. This book should be sold again in large numbers and maybe revised a little bit just to have new copies again in book stores.
