Workbook for Introduccin a la Linga1/4a-Stica Espaaola

For what it is, this book is the best one I've ever used. It has virtually every aspect of Spanish linguistics in it that you could hope for, all presented in a good format with good exercises and explanations. My only note is that in the difficult field of linguistics, the majority of anglophone university students will need in-class instruction and explanation in order to be able to understand the hard concepts. And sometimes the book can get wordy without being completely clear. But that is what a class is for, theoretically, and this book is a very helpful and complete text overall.
