A good beginner book.

Once you get past the 'cute' aspects of this book, it really is pretty good. There is a fair amount of instructional content about hand tools. If you are a novice, this will be appreciated. The projects are realistic, and fairly useful. I particularly liked the comprehensive approach to documenting every step of each project, with photos and drawings. If you have kids in the 7 - 12 age range, this book is a good choice.
