Women's Work Is Never Done: Celebrating Everything Women Do

Not to be confused with Alice's famous remark on a memorable episode of the Honeymooners, Men work from sun to sun, but women's work is never done, Women's Work Is Never Done by BJ Gallagher celebrates the fact that women's work is never done because it's never meant to be done. Women are meant to nourish and grow themselves and others, throughout their lives, and Gallagher's book acknowledges and affirms it.

Practical reminders!

What a cool book for your own enjoyment and bedside reading--or a fabulous gift for any female in your life. The author arranged her thoughts alphabetically. Some examples are: A: Affirm our own and each other's worth. H: Heed our intuitive wisdom. P: Prepare our children for life. V: Veer away from negative people. You get the idea. Each chapter starts with quotes like in C: Commit to Excellence's, "The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for." This is by Maureen Dowd, syndicated newspaper columnist. Then there is a little story, Tips & Tools and sometimes poetry in each letter's section. In U: Understand your finances is the advice that "a man is not a financial plan," --good advice for single and married women. Each section is better than the one before. This book is a keeper you'll go back to often for inspiration, insight, laughter and a "good think." Armchair Interviews says: Good practical reminders in an interesting presentation worth any woman's time.
