You can get your claws into it!

What a great book! I am not usually an X-Men reader, although I like them, my reasons are economical rather than an issue of taste. This was a really good book though that made me reconsider. Wolverine is his usually gruff self but I enjoyed the fill in of the background between he and Mystique. I also like that she chose to hid in Afghanistan and Iraq but that Aaron didn't use the story as an excuse to make political statements. An exciting fun read that is well worth the price.

Awesome

I read this all in one sitting. Get Mystique follows Wolverine as he hunts down Mystique after her betrayal of the X-Men. The story is told in two veins: the present, with Wolverine tracking down Mystique and Mystique constantly a step ahead; and the past, with Logan and Mystique working together before he became Wolverine. The beauty of the story is the way that the two time lines play off each other. In the present you have Wolverine filled with utter rage at everything that Mystique has done. In the past, you have almost a kind of love story between Logan and Mystique. There are some really good plots twist, and while I feel the overall story doesn't add much to Wolverine's character, it does make Mystique seem a lot deeper. Aaron knows how to write Wolverine really well and Garney does an awesome job with the art! 5 Stars

Excellent Wolverine solo action packed

This book has the formula of a good comic book, it has a real good art(Ron Garney definitly rocks), and the story of Jason Aaron , is very basic but strong. This arc is about Wolverine's quest to kill Mystique once for all (it was a Cyclop's request after Messiah Complex crossover, that you should read because it is great), the story presents how Wolverine met Mystique for the first time, and why wolverine knows Mystique that much. The story is a little bit short, but has a lot of action, sex, alcohol and Wolverine's admamtium all over. This is a MUST HAVE.

Action and Sex from Marvel

This is an awesome read. The story is well written and takes Wolverine from past to present dangers, somewhere in the Desert. Wolverine and Mystique face off....bare. You don't need a PHD on comic book history to get into this story. I've been passing this one at work, and people who don't normally like comic books have been engage in comic book conversations. Get this book.

great trade paperback

This is a great trade paperback. I'm not big on a lot of the more convoluted "event" storylines in comics, especially in the X-Men comics, so I tend to skip stuff like the Messiah Complex storyline. This comes right after Messiah Complex, but you don't need to have read that at all to fully understand the plot in this. It's a nice, fairly self-contained story. It's obvious from the title, but the story basically comes down to Wolverine chasing Mystique all over, seeking revenge for her most recent betrayal. They throw in some flashbacks to provide a little more emotional context, and both mutants get lots of chances to use their powers in creative and cool ways. The absolutely BRUTAL fight at the end provides a great climax that's sure to satisfy. The artwork is great too. It suits the tone of the story, and all of the action scenes and plot twists are depicted well (Mystique, as a shape-shifter, tends to use a lot of visual tricks to try and squeeze out of bad situations, and they're all shown marvelously). Wolverine and Mystique both just exude "cool." Plus there's a lot of explosions, which is always a big plus. :) Considering the low cover price, this is a no-brainer. If you like the two main characters at all, you should definitely pick this one up.
