WOMAN IN JEOPARDY!

This is my first Ginna Gray book and I would read another. Fast paced woman in jeopardy book. On the run with alpha male Rawlins, Lauren (who has been sheltered all of her life) must cope with surviving and her growing attraction to her protector. Good story and plot, but I found Lauren's constant questioning of Rawlins' motives and actions irritating. After all, he's the professional. That aside, I would recommend the book. A MUST read is LAUREN BACH's sexy and thrill a minute "LONE RIDER". WOW! A five plus read. Check it out!!

Ginna's Best

I've always enjoyed her work, but this one I simply could not put down! It's a breathtaking race from start to finish, with surprises every step of the way, followed by a bang-up, satisfying conclusion. What more can any reader ask? I can hardly wait for her next work.

Fantastic characterizations! Highly recommended

When Carlo Giovessi executes a man for stealing drugs from him, a witness unwittingly puts her life on the line. Pianist Lauren Brownly hears her own death ordered when mob boss Carlo realizes she hasn't left the nightclub. She reports the killing to the Denver PD believes she's Carlo's mistress. Now the FBI steps into the case, planning to keep Lauren safe until she can testify. Agent Sam Grey Wolf Rowlins is assigned to the case.Sam sets aside his previous investigation into an insider turned rogue to assume care of Lauren. The Bureau has been investigating Carlo for years, but every time they got close, something went wrong from tapered evidence to dead witnesses. Extreme coincidence suggests the truth to lie with a corrupt agent. When a plane crash-lands Sam and Lauren miles from civilization and obviously pursued by FBI agents gone bad, they must hike through knee-deep snow and blizzard conditions to reach safety. As they learn to rely upon and trust one another, the ember of attraction lead to a fiery passion even the deepest snows can't drown. Sam's antagonism and aloofness toward Lauren, unfairly earned, can initially alienate the reader, but the feelings his ill humor conceal will sway even the hardest of hearts in THE WITNESS. This richly textured plot keeps the pages turning quickly, as Lauren and Sam's traitorous emotions and survival skills keep them alive. The vividly realized characterizations, including fascinating secondary characterizations, give THE WITNESS a fascinating depth. Further, Lauren's path to learning independence as she redefines her immediate past and her immediate future leads to terrific character growth. Highly recommended.

Great work

Lauren Brownley enjoys playing the piano at Denver's Club Classico. However, her gig abruptly ends when she sees her employer Carlo Giovessi kill Frank Pappano, a drug runner who stole some of the illegal gains from him. Carlo realizes that Lauren witnessed the homicide and from her hiding place she overhears his instructions to his thugs to kill her. Lauren heeds Carlo's unintended advice to go to the polcie who hand her over to the FBI. Agent Sam Grey Wolf Rawlins vows to keep the frightened rabbit safe until the Carlo's trial, but knows he must get her out of town to do so because someone on the Feds' rolls works for Carlo. Soon the duo is isolated in a mountain blizzard with thugs on their trail and their only hope is the growing love and trust between them. THE WITNESS is a powerful romantic suspense novel that works because readers will feel the fear and mistrust between the lead characters that gradually changes into love and faith. Though the plane escape from the mole seems too uncertain of a venture, the nasty crash, nastier weather, and the nastiest hoodlums enhance the story line. The audience will witness a strong tale with a fine cast that testifies that the only gray area in this author's writing is her name. Harriet Klausner
