With Hearts on Fire: Reflections on the Weekday Readings of the Liturgical Year

Using and reflecting of this very astute book has led me to a greater appreciation of the variety of messages and meanings of the daily gospel. It is an excellent way to prepare for daily mass or simply to spend a few quiet moments before the start of a day. The reflections are fresh, current, and topical to today's life. Hearts on Fire is one of the first books I pull out when I want a reflection that will get to the heart of each weekday and one of the last that I will read at night to calm and prepare for slumber.
