This is the first of a series of three books in a series with a background of the Battle of Britain. The other two titles are: The Fight of the Few and Wings of Victory.The story is somewhat predictable, but the book gives a very good feeling. The aspects of pilot training in the late pre-war years, moving up to real airplanes.The problems of how to find and attack another problem in the sky in the days before missiles and radar are quite interesting.
