Winds of Promise - Book Two in the Tate Family Series

Great story of the life of Sarah Peters rescued from the Comanche by the Army along with her halfbreed daughter. This story deals with the marrage of Hunter and Sarah and overcoming the ordeal of being a captive and the death of so many that Sarah loved. I loved this story and could not put it down, it was historicaly factual, the romance was tender and real and blended well with the continuing story that started with Wild Texas Winds.

Wonderful love story

After the slaughter of her husband and child in the chaos of the Civil War, Sarah Peters had been taken prisoner by the Comanche. Freed at last she returns home only to be shunned. Sarah agrees to marry rancher Hunter Tate in name only, and went to live with him in a place where no one knew about her in Texas. But soon she started to fall for Hunter. Great read.
