The winds of fortune are fickle guides...and happiness or heartbreak may be the destination. For Provincetown local Deo Camara, the only winds that have ever blown her way have been cold and lonely, and she doesn't expect things to improve when she is drawn into a family crisis against her will. Despite a decade of estrangement, however, Deo can't turn her back on the call of blood,...
Winds of Fortune Another good read in a series of good books. For me, a good book to read is a great way to reward myself and Radclyffe's books are the best reward there is.
Another great story from a Great Writer

I love the characters in this series and Radclyfe keeps adding more without taking anything from the regulars. In this book she enriches the story by adding to some very likable characters. I would and do buy anything from this author.
New and Old Come Together in a Winner

`Innocent Hearts' by Radclyffe was the first book I ever read in this genre. It got me hooked and my library has grown significantly over the last few years. Even though shelf space is getting tight, I anxiously await each new release by this fantastic author who never fails to deliver a winner. This latest installment in the Provincetown series, with its familiar setting and new characters and dilemmas, is no exception. Welcome the reappearance of Dr. Tory King and Sheriff Reece Conlon, along with their young baby Regina, who have carried this series from the beginning. Their depth of their love for one another is undeniable and is something every relationship aspires to become. Also back for more are Bri and Carre, their young relationship a budding replica of their older friends'. Other minor characters also reappear, but it's the new characters of Nita Burgoyne and Deo Camara that bring substance to this story. Having recently relocated to Provincetown to escape her broken life, Nita is working with Tory at the local clinic. She has also recently purchased an older, historical home in need of renovation. One day, she finds herself working on the cousin of a wonderfully attractive, androgynous woman who makes her libido come to life. Unfortunately, this woman - Deo Camara - has a reputation for playing the field, a trait Nita finds extremely unappealing. Looking for someone to do the work on her home, Nita finds herself hiring Deo. Despite her personal reservations Deo seems to be the best person for the job per local references. Fact is, Nita can't resist the pull Deo seems to have on her core and puts herself in a position to have more interactions with the frustrating woman. What Nita doesn't know is Deo is broken inside and has her own reservations about starting a serious relationship - regardless of their undeniable attraction. Follow this growing cast of wonderful characters as they battle their own inner demons and Mother Nature alike. This is certainly a quality addition to the Provincetown series and to Radclyffe's repertoire.
Experience women loving women in a life affirming romance

If it's more than sizzling sex that you're after; more than getting intimate with three dynamic couples you'll absolutely love and admire; more than pure escapism just for the joy of it; more than character journeys that help make sense of the world; and more than a truly engaging story that makes you feel like you're home; then Winds of Fortune by Radclyffe is the book that will fuel your desire like a bonfire. Provincetown sheriff Reese Conlon is back from serving as a marine in the War on Terror and is a little more than shell-shocked. Her partner, Dr. Tory King, is grateful to have her back even if they both have to figure out how to cope in the aftermath of Reese's tour of duty. Police Officer Bri Parker and her partner Carolyn are as tight and adorable together as ever. And the new kids on the block, Tory's new associate, Dr. Nita Burgoyne and construction company owner Deo Camara will blow you away. Deo is a player who can have any woman she wants except Nita. Watching them dance around courtship as each woman discards her baggage one layer at a time before hopefully making the ultimate sacrifice, is truly something to see, and is more than reason enough to read Winds of Fortune. But for me, the real reason to read anything written by Radclyffe is way deeper than girl gets girl. I marvel at how deeply devoted these women are to each other; how much they care; and how truly protective and supportive they are for their chosen family. It would make anyone, gay or straight, long for such profound love and commitment in their life. Radclyffe shows how one's gender has nothing to do with it, and that being human and needing love to survive does. Winds of Fortune is the fifth novel in the Provincetown series and it's a wonder how Radclyffe can write so many sex scenes, so many novels in each of her series, and still keep it hot, fresh and so alive that the scenes radiate off the page and you can't wait for the next date. Find out how Reese, Tory, Bri, Carolyn, Deo and Nita weather the storm. Do not miss Winds of Fortune to catch up with some of your favorite characters, who feel more like friends than fiction. Experience women who love women in every sense of the word in an affirming and uplifting manor that will warm your heart. Radclyffe delivers this and more. For a fast-paced, erotic romance that will stimulate every nerve in your body, then Winds of Fortune is for you.
Breathlessly awaited and better than I had hoped!

Having just gotten back from a 9 day trip to Provincetown, Massachusetts I could not have been happier to read this novel set in this gorgeous and charming town. Spiritus Pizza, The Vixen, The Squealing Pig, Pied Bar, Angel Market, all the places I had just been to and more. Again the author brings back characters from earlier novels and they are as true to form in this book as when they first appeared. Her depiction of the intensity of Tory's emotions in chapter three was so real to life I had to put the book down and pause before I could continue reading. The new characters of Nita and Deo were interesting and unique in their own right. The author wove them into the setting and the lives of the earlier characters seamlessly. I thought it was perfect to have the main characters renovating one of the many gorgeous old homes that populate the town. I really admired Nita's gentle strength and I found her back story fascinating. The author submerges the reader in the life of the occupants of the town and you end up caring for them as if they were your neighbors. The beauty of the setting makes you think this could be a wonderful place to live. I was especially charmed with Allie, her growth of character through the novels is really excellent in it's believability and so vivid that I hope she appears in another novel. This is a keeper. Don't miss the other books in this fabulous series Safe Harbor Beyond the Breakwater Distant Shores, Silent Thunder Storms of Change
