This book is part of the Skye's West series, and is well written. Mr Wheeler takes you on what appears to be a realistic adventure through different parts of the west. While reading the book, you get the feeling of the joys and real hardships people had while trecking through harsh indian country, sometimes having to live and clothe themselves with only Skye and his indian wives to help them.
