Well written

I throughly enjoyed this trilogy and found it very thought provoking. Hopefully she will write somemore.

FASCINATIONG

We first met Copper Brown in "Troublesome Creek", the first of a trilogy written by Jan Watson. Copper grew up in Troublesom Creek in the mountains of Kentucky and she was very close to her family and neighbors. Copper just loved these beautiful mountains, but when she met and married Dr. Simon Corbett she moved to the city of Lexington, Ky. Copper loved her husband very much, but had much to learn about city living. Her sister-in-law, Alice Benton was quick to point out to her the errors she made and disliked Copper very much. Over time these two learned to love each other, but much as Copper's life was happy, she still longed for the mountains she had left behind. In time she came to feel comfortable with her life as she began helping her husband in his practice. She especially liked the after care she provided women who had just given birth. No one could have predicated the tragedy that would change their lives forever. I'm just now going to start reading "Torrent Falls". If it is as good as the first two books, I know I will also enjoy this one.

another amazing read from Jan Watson

I've been an avid reader since I was 4 - taught myself to read, actually. I was mesmerized by Jan Watson's first book, Troublesome Creek. I couldn't wait for her next book and, as cliche as this sounds, I couldn't put it down (and I don't say that about many books). Jan's writing style is maturing and there is a confidence evolving in her work. Few authors have the ability to put me "right there", the ability to make me forget everything and be swept away by their characters and plot, to forget I'm reading a book curled up in my own bed. But Jan Watson certainly can. I can't wait to read her next book and I hope she will continue to touch my heart with some of the best Christian fiction I've ever read.
