The second book in Robert Vaughn's WILD WILD WEST series, Night of the Death Train, has the flavor of the television show of the late 60's. If you are a true fan you will certainly like this one.
Robert Vaughan had a good hold on the series.

He started out with a good plot and ended with a good ending. I believe that he also had a better hold on the main characters,(James West and Artemus Gordon.)He discribed Jim and Arte even better in this book than in the first book. The only thing I have to complain about, is that there should have been more gadgets and girls. But there were also times in the series when you didn't see much gadgets or girls. Also my hand to Steven Ferlauto. The cover designs on the books are exellent! Good plot with the railroad timeing. I hope Robert Vaughan keeps on writing these books. They are a great thing for collectors and those who like the series. As an actor and disguise artist, very much like Artemus Gordon(A.K.A. Ross Martin),I enjoyed the disguies in the first book, but it was unrealistic to me how Artemus could change disguises so quickly.
