Who Was Who in the Bible

This whole "Ultimate A to Z Resource" Bible study set is an amazing set of books. My kids (I have 6 plus step-kids) have requested this set of books for their own study libraries. They are easy to understand, yet are thorough in their comments. In all of my use of these resource books, I have not found one instance where the Gospel or Biblical principles have been compromised in any way - something that is a rarity in books written and published in this generation. "Nelson Publishers" is to be highly commended for their work.

Who Was Who in the Bible is a great reference resource with lots of entertaining black & white biblical cartoons written in 1999. The commentary shows how to pronounce the people's names and tells what their names meant. Most Scripture quotations are from the New King James Version. The comments are interesting and concise. If you enjoy this book you may also like THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE BOOK OF PROVERBS by Cody Jones. Numerous biblical characters are pointed out who illustrate King Solomon's witty observations on human nature.
