Who Moved My Cheese

Read this when I was much younger and it shaped my life. Reread this again to get a refresher. Who Moved My Cheese is a short parable that can be read within an hour or so. Yet, the impact of it can be profound. Written before the "change is the only constant" became a business cliche, I can see how some modern readers may be put off by it. Yet, the lessons themselves, as simple as they may be, are fundamental to each of our own experience. The beauty is in the shortness and simplicity of the story. Anyone from a teenager to an adult like myself can pick it up. Sometimes we get complacent in our current situation. The beauty of the parable is that it helps us reassess our own lives as it relates to the story. The "cheese" in this case being a metaphor for whatever we are working towards. It gets us to ask ourselves how we should adapt to a changing environment rather than if we should. After many years, I still give this a 5/5. I love this book that much.

As complex as it is simple. This is a "story" parents should read to their children. Its presentation is that easy but its application is as much for the adult reading it as the child hearing it. A must have.

A simple story that explains so much! This little book has such a strong lesson for everyday life. I highly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in improving themselves.

This book was an easy read. Very simple and I think the point of the book was good.

I had high hopes for this book. It is simple and nothing out the ordinary. If you have children, this is a good option for them to learn from.

Este pequeño gran libro está excelentemente bien escrito, en una forma clara y sencilla. Con una corta historia de cuatro personajes el autor nos presenta la problemática actual de las empresas familiares y no familiares: hay que planificar y adaptarse al cambio sin miedo.

The impressive thing about this book is that within a few pages (that take only an hour of reading) makes you think again and again about your life. It leads you to think about the chances that you are missing by hanging out with old missed chances. It forces you to move on. It shows you some of the wrong directions in your life, business, family etc. This book is a must have, and a great gift for friends
