Vincent Bugliosi needs to read this book!!

Harold Weisberg rips the Conclusions of the Warren Commission in a professional unbiased way using the commissions own files.he presents no theories on who was behind the murder of JFK but focuses on the invesigation itself.an excellent extraordinary book for the novice or experienced researchers interested in the JFK Assassination!!!

EXTRAORDINARY

As an assassination researcher myself, I have become disheartened to see some researchers publish books solely for profit all the while forwarding ridiculous theories. Harold Weisberg is unique. Whitwash has laid a basis of credibility for all honest researchers to follow. No other publication can approximate its content. Whitewash analizes the unmistakable failings of the Report itself exclusively on the basis of the Commission's own information. A must reading for every American.

If you read only one JFK book, it should be this one

Harold Weisberg read the Warren Report and realized it was wrong. As a lone researcher, he took it upon himself to write "Whitewash," one of the first books to criticize the sanitized lone-assassin theory the government was eager to put out and the public was just as eager to ingest. Jay Edward Epstein, Mark Lane and Harold Weisberg disturbed the media calm that prevailed after newspapers worldwide delcared that one could rest easy, there was no conspiracy. Weisberg doesn't produce grainy photos of supposed gunmen, or interview questionable witnesses with swiss-cheese credibility. He goes into the Warren Commission volumes, shows the contradictions, and lets the facts almost speak for themselves. This book is a stunning indictment of the pro-Solution position, and casts grave doubts on the efficiency of the Warren Commission. Whether the collective incompetence of the government was accidental or deliberate may be left up to the reader, but to hear Harold Weisberg is to hear the facts that were never made public, but which at the same time will not go away.If you only read one book on the JFK assassination, make it this one. In a whisper, this book speaks volumes.
