Fans of the show will love this book!

Whirlwind is a fantastic standalone story in the X-Files Universe! The writing is riveting and the execution of our favourite spooky FBI duo of Mulder & Scully's character is flawless. Whirlwind is a case of strange & unexplained phenomena tailor-made to be labeled: An X-File.

Thumbs up!

This second novelization of my favorite Agent's kept me glued to the pages like it's predecessor, Goblins. The descriptive imagery is excellent, being from the Southwest, I know. Very entertaining.

Great book-kept me glued to the pages!

I loved this book and how well it was written. It really kept you guessing as to who controlled the Blood Wind! There were funny parts, which I liked, and the characters-Mulder and Scully as well as the Indians and the sheriff-were written very well. Only one thing wrong-why did Mulder and Scully think it was so hot in New Mexico? Sure, it can get hot, but I live in Arizona and it doesn't get THAT hot.

I thought it was fantastic

Charles L. Grant is a terrific author and Whirlwind has an imaginitive plot. The author catches everything and it makes you feel like you were there. He was very good at capturing Mulder's humor. The X-Files rocks.

A real improvement for Mr Grant

I found this book more enjoyable then Mr. Grants first book, Goblins. This one was much more even and understandable. His portrayal of Mulder and Scully was a little more on the money in this novel. His books still aren't as well done as Kevin J. Anderson's, but they are still pretty enjoyable.

You need more than 5 stars!

This book was great, as were all the other ones written for the X-Files. Charles Grant and Kevin J. Anderson are very talented writters.
