Where Is God in My Suffering

This short book attempts to provide biblical answers to those questions anyone suffering from some ailment or difficulty often wonders: where is God? Unfortunately, it is not always as simple as just a prayer and everything is OK again. The big question is also the one that is really not answered in a forthright way, because it cannot be. God will not just make out lives simple and easy just because we ask. The real message of the book is not that God has abandoned us, or that someone (perhaps even God) is behind our sufferings. No, the real answer is the message of hope that the Bible can provide. There are several examples of people suffering offered in the Bible, so we are never alone. Granted, the person diagnosed with incureable cancer or a broken heart will likely not find much solace at first. But the important message is to persevere in our readings and understanding of hope. Over time we can find God. The book is arranged into seven chapters, each with a particular biblcal reference that the chapter is built upon. The reader can read the book inits entirity or focus on the one or two chapters that are most applicable to their given situation. None of the book requires any theological or seminary experience to understand the message. At the same time, the deeper our understanding of the Bible is, the easier it will be to grasp the message of this book.
