Wonderful working class american romance.

I just love how the heroine is portrayed in this romance. As opposed to the (non-alpha) doofus hero who needs captivity in a foreign land to make him realise how wonderful his separated wife is. To say nothing of the fact that he lets HER work HIS way through college and then, just as he's about to qualify as an engineer, tells her they've 'grown apart' and he needs to 'find himself'. (It's good that he had to suffer for that) April, the truck driver, has an accident and suffers temporary amnesia. This allows her separated husband, Russ, to make her fall in love with him all over again. And then her memory returns. April should have made Russ grovel a lot more but she's too nice for that. No other girl- or boy-friends involved which is how a true romance should be. Wonderful emotional sexy romance.
