Finially a collection of spiritual devotions that everyone can relate to. After spending years reading devotions that were either shallow spiritually or written for theology professors and seminarians, I have found a collection of short reflections on everyday events that bring deep meaning to my relationship with God. Marge writes in a simple style about events that we can all relate to, then draws out connections with God that you can reflect on for weeks. You can read it simply for entertainment or also go deeper and change your life.

This book was very helpful to me as a mother of small children to step back and really look at what my children are teaching ME about my relationship with God. It is so easy to brush off kids comments or thoughtlessly answer our kids with a generic statement without taking the time to actually hear what we are saying to them. Marge does an excellent job giving us snippets in time to reawaken our forgetful minds to the reality of God present in our lives, even in the simpleness of a conversation with a child. A great book for daily devotions or prayer time.

A fantastic and uplifting book! Margaret has an amazing way of drawing the reader into her everyday stories and then helping us see God's awesome presence in each moment. When I received the book, I randomly opened it up to read about a Feast Day: Mary, Mother of God. It was no coincidence! I could totally relate to her message about our children leaving home and life becoming sadly "different". Margaret's message has helped me meditate on how the Blessed Mother had to respond to the "different" situations in her own life, and how She had to learn to trust all to God. Hopefully I can do the same. Thanks Margaret!

What a refreshing book!! I love the way Marge Fenelon explained how the title of this book came to her. Too cute!! The book is filled with thoughtful and humorous insights into everyday life. Also included are questions for reflection at the end of each short story. Could possibly be used in a group setting, too. Liked this book so much, I am buying extras to give to friends.
