My daughter found this book listed in the newspaper around the time of the 9/11 anniversary this year (2003). Her husband, my son-in-law, suffers from Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), and my daughter was coming apart at the seams. The book has given her strength, answered questions and gave her tools to cope. She says it has totally transformed her thinking. I ordered a copy for myself and cannot wait to read it. I hope it helps others who are facing a tough time. Thanks to Mike Macintosh for his helpful book, and thanks for helping so many people.
