Fun and entertaining for all

Great book!! I enjoy reading it as much as my kids enjoy hearing it. Fabulous fun pictures that have us all cracking up.

Witty and charming!

What a fun book! The story is original and funny -- I enjoyed it as much as my kids. The illustrations are whimsical and they themselves tell a story. This is a book that has quickly become a classic in our house.

When the Cows Got Loose

This fantastical adventure takes the reader through amusing and amazing turns as Ida Mae tries to round up her 26 cows. Their alphabetical names trip off the tongue and will have little ones trying to follow where they all are as they do their best to defy capture. The illustrations draw you in as the story leads you around and about,up, down and through. I highly recommend this delightful tale!

A great children's book!

"When the Cows Got Loose" has colorful and inventive illustrations paired with a humorous story about a young girl trying to corral her circus-crazy cows, and will have kids giggling throughout the whole story. The antics of Ida Mae's family are just as wild as her cows. Without a doubt, this is a great book for kids. An extra hint: this book is best read with a thick Southern drawl, whether you're actually Southern or not.
