For those who normally wouldn't deign to read a Harlequin Romance (and Flipside is Harlequin), this book will come as a massive surprise. The author (Carly Laine has got to be a pseudonym)paints a picture replete with characters that are not only believeable, they accurately reflect a real segment of American society that we all would like to deny exists, yet many of us touch every day. Dylan Stone has a certain je ne sais quoi which indicates that the author must be a woman, for only a woman could depict so accurately and with such incisiveness the feelings and reactions of our heroine. And only a woman could have combined such sympathy and derisiveness in the characterization of the commitment-challenged Brad. Good plot, good characters, great subject matter. It's worth a read at twice the price.

This book is so much fun! I loved the author's humor. Her view of life as a twenty-something is hilarious! I literally laughed out loud. Isn't that the best? The characters are great too. I found myself so involved in their stories, I didn't want to put the book down. It's a great weekend read. Don't miss this one!
