Looks at basic devices such as wheels, pulleys, levers, screws, and slopes, and suggests simple experiments and projects to demonstrate how they work. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I got this for my 5 year old son who likes wheels, etc. and it is a really neat book. With cardboard, scissors, and brass paper fasteners and a few other common objects you can make some really neat physics projects for the very young. It doesn't overload with information and the projects are really fun, discovering things like friction and force with toys and toy-like gadgets that are pretty easy to make.
