What's That Sound? on the Farm

What I like most about the book is the tempo and illustrations, they are really superb! The story is long enough to be interesting, with nice lines that are fun to say... our son loves to listen to them. As an artist and illustrator, I have to say the illustrations are very well executed, fun and fresh, the characters are expressive and fun to look at, and quality and visual composition is extremely good. As a 'farm boy' myself, I'd like to say it gives a great feel for life on the farm from sunup to sundown. This book has made me really intersted in Kim Lafaves other projects - I intend to collect them all.
