Bought as a gift, but couldn't help to read a little bit of it myself. My brother loved this as his birthday gift.

I picked up this book on a whim, thinking it might be as cheesy as the MacGyver on tv, but I was pleasantly surprised that I found one of the most entertaining books I have ever read. The creativity of the people profiled in this book truly amazes me, and now I have some good ideas if I ever get myself into a situation a little tough to get out of. This book tells the stories of the REAL MacGuyvers of the world, and I can't wait to try out some of my own new ideas sparked by the funny tales in this book. I would highly recommend it for some light, entertaining (and possibly educational) reading!

This was clever, funny, and taught me a few lessons too! As a true MacGyver fan, I say the master himself would be in awe of many of the creative tales told. But even if you've never seen the show, I guarantee this book will put a smile on your face.

I picked up a copy of this MacGyver book because I am an "old" fan of the ingenuity involved in the TV series. This book, written by ordinary individuals who have found themselves in tight little spots which required clever "MacGyver" thinking, was so much fun! I highly recommend it as a gift for the holiday season because each story is quick, clever, and quite funny - so it would be perfect as a traveling book for the airplane or car ride to the relative's house for the holidays. Very original and written for a wide range of readers. Intriguing and fun!
