Okay, I did not give novel top ratings, but it was an ok book. I liked the story. It was the kind book where a guy meets unexperienced girl and they fall in love. I liked the story enough, it's just the way the story develops made me not give it top ratings. The book was way to long, meaning the development process, in my opinion. I know from reading experiences with Guilluame's work that my girl has mad talent, but in this one she did not express it fully!!
Very Good!

Tarrant Cole goes to work at Papa Jack's sport bar to try to find evidence that the bar was responsible for his younger sister Amber's car accident. Tarrant knows that Amber is both an alcoholic and unfit mother to her 9 year old daughter (who Tarrant is trying to help raise). However, that does not stop him from trying to find someone else to place the blame on for Amber's accident. Meleah Harmon is the hostess and daughter of the bar owner, Papa Jack. Meleah knows that in spite of Tarrant's obvious attraction to her, he somehow holds her and Papa Jack's responsible for his sister's accident. Tarrant's suspicions about Meleah is a major stumbling block to his getting to know her. What Tarrant doesn't know is that Meleah was actually a victim, and his sister Amber was one of the villians in the events that happened at the Papa Jack's bar prior to her car accident. Without giving away additional plotlines, there are also a couple of secondary storylines and characters including Meleah's aunt and cousin, Amber's daughter, and especially Papa Jack and Charlotte, that made this book a very good, highly-recommended read.
