What Jesus Is All about: Meet the Man Whose Life--And Death--Changed the Course of History

Henrietta Mears was a brilliant person. In her famous book, "What The Bible Is All About", she took years and years of teaching and made that teaching into an invaluable book. This review however is not about that book, but "What Jesus is All About", a condensation of the aforementioned book that the editors at Regal Books made into a new book. I say new book because it does have some changes, most welcomed, a study guide and "helps" throughout the chapters. I have used this book teaching an adult class, and it has worked quite well. It has enough information for seasoned Christians as well as Newbie's into the Faith. It also is concise enough that you don't feel bogged down by too much information. Most Christians I know and teach have an understanding of Christ but cannot fully explain the differences between the Gospels and what the Gospel is. Or why the synoptic gospels are different than John's. This book is for them: a basic, good grasp on the person of Christ in the first five books of the New Testament, without making those learning seem like they are likely targets for seminary.
