What I Look Like When I Am Sad

Joanne Randolph's children's book about recognizing the emotion of sadness could be a valuable tool for parents, teachers and councilors to open the lines of communication with children who may be distressed, or just began to talk about their feelings. There are ten full-page photographs illustrating changes in facial expressions on young boys and girls and a helpful list of "words to know" (eyebrows, eyelids, frown, lips, etc.) for review. Definitely recommended.
