This book has a lot of the information I always wanted, such as what chores are appropriate for what age?

If you are a parent you need this book - very practical and biblical teaching. If we don't instill the values to our children - who will? - our school systems that won't even admit that there is a creator.
What Every mom should know about your kids

I lend out a lot of my books to moms. I have 5 children, age 6 to 15 and have loved this book for years. This is the only book I lend out and usually don't get back!! I end up letting them keep it because it is so useful. Know ing what jobs a child should be capable of at what age has been a huge help in training my kids. And I have loved the ideas for family worship and training of my child's heart. It's a staple in my library!

God has blessed me so much by this book. I have believed in my heart the importance of training up my children in the way they should go spiritually, but also practically for the glory of our Lord! I myself felt very ill equipped to handle this task do to lack of instruction in my own formative years. I stared blankly at my husband the evening we returned from our honeymoon when he asked me "What"s for dinner?". Somehow I had imagined that we would eat out for the rest of our lives...or something to that effect. God has brought us through a lot in our 12 years of marriage and we have grown up a lot together. Gail has given practical Godly councel in this book for which I am very grateful. I have uncovered (with many groans from my 9 year old[who knew how much she was getting away with]; and great enthusiam from the 7,5, and 3 year old)that my children can do far more than I had given them credit. As we work through this process the blessings are increasing and the interaction is wonderful. I am ordering copies for my sister-in-law and my sister. I only wish that I had known of this book earlier in my parenting process. May God be glorified as we seek to center our family around Christ blessing others by our lives. Many thanks to Gail whom I consider a true Titus 2 woman.
