This book is a wonderful way to drive home the real meaning of Christmas. The illustrations are simply beautiful and perfect for the night Jesus was born. Animals in the stable wonder at the little Baby and see how the shepherds honor him and the wisemen adore him. Mary, Mother of Jesus, knows that he is the Son of God and the barn animals are amazed that a King could be so little and asleep in a manger. The Christmas story is told in this very sweet children's book. My daughter received it and I'll give it next Christmas to every child on my list. A treasure among all the other "Christmas" related books out there for children. I recommend this book for everyone...it brings tears!
