Good book, important concepts

My take is that this was good, maybe even very good, but not great. The writing kept me interested, and it's clear that the author has done her research into more than one detailed topic. There were some very poignant passages, and some sweet and funny moments. For me, the ending fell flat. I felt like instead of choosing a direction and sticking to it no matter what, the author seemed to want to please everybody, so just when it felt wrapped up, it continued in another direction that lacked conviction. It entertains and explores, but for me, it just didn't resolve well.

Loved it!

This is the first novel from Liane Moriarty I’ve read. I didn’t know what to expect. It was amazing and I have already ordered others. The concept was enriching and the characters were as well. I absolutely loved the ending and even shed a few tears. I don’t usually but this is a very special book! Highly recommend 🌟💕🌟

Drags on and on

I got half way through this book and ended up putting to the side. I love this author but the painstaking detail on each description just dragged on for me. I felt like this entire story was super predictable.

Not her abaolute best, but better than some others

I enjoyed this book a lot. It wasn't as "can't put it down" as some of her other books, but I liked the storyline and the characters and would definitely recommend it.

No.

This author has way better books than this.

One of my favorite books

Any wife/mother should read this because it made me want to do better and be a better wife. Great quick read.

Good read

Searching for something to read I found this and upon reading the description, discovered! I forgot! I’ve already read it :) The irony. Good story. Worth reading.

Very interesting

I really liked this book. I couldn't put it down...read it in 2 days! Very interesting story & I became a big fan of this author!

A Decent Read

Though the overarching ”mystery” about what exactly Alice Forgot was quite predictable, I found this to be an extremely enjoyable read. To me, the real question was what would Alice do when she did get her 10 years of missing memory back? Would she choose to think like 1998 Alice, like 2008 Alice, or find a way to integrate the two together? I found myself reading non-stop not to find out what Alice would remember, I had already figured that out, but what kind of person she would become when she remembered.
I found most of the character’s likeable, or at least relatable. I preferred young Alice to older Alice, though in no way would I characterize older Alice as a villain. She was just different. Also the use of younger and older Alice gave an interesting perspective into Nick. We only get blips of his side of their story, but because we see a multitude of Alice’s memories he is a bit more fleshed out; whereas I think he would come across as cold and unlikeable if we only got older Alice’s thoughts. As for Elisabeth, she was hands down my favorite character. I related to her in some of the smaller ways, and wanted nothing more than for her to get her happy ending, or at least for her to be content with her life. I was more invested in her story than I was Alice’s!
Overall this was an easy, enjoyable read and I would recommend it!

Loved it!

This book is exactly my favorite type of fiction with a fun story line that pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. Super cute story that also gives some good food for thought.

Reading it now.

It was ok

The story had great potential but the ending was a bit disappointing.

Sweet love story

This book was a sweet tale of rekindled love. A perfect, easy, mindless summer read!

Great Concept, Average Tale

Personally, I thought this book dragged along. I had heard a great deal of scuttlebutt about this novel, so perhaps I had unrealistic expectations. I loved the concept of the story line, it just wasn't as engaging as expected.
