Based on the Hermie and Friends film by the same name, "Webster, the Scaredy Spider "is Max Lucado's latest character to enter the garden. With little regard to the "Garden Treaty of '85," cute little Webster wanders into the garden to face his long list of fears: leaving home, other insects, talking in front of others, meeting new people, big lizards, water, heights, flying through the air, dark places . . .But little does he know, he is a big, hairy source of fear for all of the other insects in the garden. With guidance from God (after, of course, getting up the courage to talk to Him), Webster finds a way to face his fears, and in turn, the other insects learn to face Webster. With vividly colorful 3-D art from the film, this story will serve as a light-hearted reminder that God is always by our sides."
My son was having issues with fear and this book not only validated that it is ok to be afraid but also showed him to turn his troubles to God for He will take care of him. The illustrations are bright and engaging and the book is the perfect length for our 4 1/2 year old. I highly recommend any Max Lucado children's book!

This DVD was so fun to watch with my kids. It teaches valuable lessons without the typical violence and unwanted innuendos found in other movies. No prince and princess! My favorite part! It really impressed upon my daughter that if you're scared, God is with you.
Wonderful Kids Movie!!!

What a great movie to watch with your kids! A good lesson to children not to pre-judge somebody and how to face your fears.
