Unlikeable main character

I find the main character to be arrogant and considering how often she screws up and gets her but kicked it’s unwarranted arrogance. So far the books are full of repeat information and clichés (this is book 2) there are other characters that I do like however I’m not sure I like them enough to continue the series. I might read another if I find myself “between authors” again.
