God's miracles at work in one man's life

Written by my great uncle, this book tells the story of how one man and his family struggled, thrived, and eventually fled from Iran to America. If you believe in the power of God to work miracles in someone's life, you should read this book.

Very interesting life

Mr. Filsouf has led a very interesting life. I picked up the book not knowing what to expect, but I read it in one sitting because it was very absorbing. It details Mr. Filsouf's life from when his mother escaped from home to avoid an arranged marriage with a 30 year old man (she was only 14) to when he wrote the book. His life was full of tribulations, but he always managed to overcome them with his dignity and integrity intact. This book has interesting perspectives on life in Iran in the 30s-70s and is often marked with humor and pathos. I got the sense that the author is an honest man, which makes the events in the book all the more enjoyable.
