This is such an unusual book! The pages are made of good watercolor paper. There are 49 projects. On the one side is a page with the directions and a picture of the item Dana painted. On the opposite page is the faint gray outline of the item for you to paint. All you need is a couple of round paint brushes and some basic watercolor paints. It is as simple as falling off a Log!!! What I like about it the most, is the fact that it is a easy, non judgemental way to learn how to manipulate watercolor. No one is looking over your shoulder, and if you struggle with drawing, the outline is already there. I wish I knew what kind of watercolor paper it is, because it is good to practice on.
