Warning to Ministers, Their Wives: Avoid the Road to Destruction

I have read this book and it was awesome!!! Dr. Betty is telling it like it is and like it should be. I am now warned about the predators that are out to destroy God's children. This book is not only about the mess that goes on in the church but this stuff goes on outside of the church. You can use the principles from the book in the work environment and school.

Disclosing the church's dirty no so secret secret is not easy but it is done with a great deal of grace and straight-forwardness. Dr. Betty Price of Crenshaw Christian Center and Ever Increasing Faith Ministries is right on target with her assetment of ministerial misconduct. The book is based on the weekly calls and countless letters sent to her from women seeking solace. The letters and calls are chocked full of illicit behavior involving the "other-woman", the "first lady", and the pastor or deacon, etc. and can this behavior continue without some form of warning? God forbid! This book is a must read for those who know and look the other way; for those who have been wounded; and for those looking for the way of escape. The book also has advice from Dr. Minnie Claiborne, noted counselor (see her book Prayer Therapy) and provides ways of dealing with the horrific emotional damage done due to a compromised self-esteem and self-worth. Dr. Betty Price is also very forthcoming regarding the church heifers that made a play for her husband - unsuccessfully. I hope there is a second book. Her interview with Tom Joyner, Michael Baisden, and [...] (which by the way has been the #1 story online for a number of weeks) have also been very insightful. I highly recommend this book - not because of the titilating subject matter but because it relates to other areas of your life. A compromise is a compromise. What can i say, she is truly one in a zillion-GOD sent. This books like her other books will transform many lives. Be richly blessed, and GOD will extend your life in CHRIST name, Amen

Words cannot express how very necessary a book such as this is to the body of Christ. All of us definitely need to read it!

what Dr. Betty Price is saying is not new, but there are some who need to see it again and again in writing. They are now without excuse. I'm glad that she wrote it. if a few people can be turned around, it was for the few. The front cover has a yellow sign "warning" on it, and a woman going down the road. Just as when you are traveling, you have a choice to turn back, turn off and go another way, or you can choose to keep going and go off of the cliff. There are those who have heard time and time again, and know that they are in the wrong. But God is still giving them a chance to repent, now it is in their face again. I think that more women than men will read this book because men who abuse power in this way will not listen to a woman's words, but it will give the women the courage they need to get away from these ministers who choose to sleep with the sheep and dishonor the Lord. She spelled it out clearly, and told them that they need to repent. Now the blood will not be on her hands if they choose to keep doing their dirty business... May Dr. Betty Price continue to live long, cry aloud and spare not!
