I bought this book for research and am delighted by what I received. From ancient times to our day, WAR IN THE HOLY LAND shows in perfect detail the battles fought to possess this land. One hundred maps as well as color and B & W photos add a visual punch to the history of one of the most troubled places on earth. The past of warfare in the Middle East is clearly shown. About the only thing not told is what the next thousand years will bring.
