I read it in one sitting

I'll be honest from the first; my dad wrote this book. He's published a few magazine articles before this but never a book. As a daughter, I was hoping I could find SOMETHING nice to say about it and was secretly hoping I wouldn't find it embarrassing! So I was very suprised when I found myself saying, "Just one more chapter," right up until 2:30 am when I finished the whole book! It's not sexy, violent, or trashy, it's just a sweet story told in an engaging manner. If you like the Mitford books or Garrison's Lutheran stories you'll want to read WALNUT GROVE. Really, it's good!
